গত ২৪শে নভেম্বর ২০২০ইং রোজ মঙ্গলবার দুপুর ৩ ঘটিকায় গুইমারায় নতুনপাড়া প্রাইমারি স্কুল মাঠ প্রাঙ্গণে বাংলাদেশ মারমা স্টুডেন্টস কাউন্সিল (বিএমএসসি) এর আয়োজনে এবং প্ল্যান ইন্টারন্যাশনাল ও মং সার্কেলের সহায়তায় পার্বত্য চট্টগ্রামে বসবাসরত আদিবাসী মেয়েদের মধ্যে ডিজিটাল নিরাপত্তা নিশ্চিতকরণ ও ডিজিটাল মাধ্যমে সংঘটিত অপরাধের বিষয়ে সচেতনতামূলক একটা সেমিনার অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।
চট্টগ্রাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের নাট্যকলা বিভাগের শিক্ষার্থী মায়েচিং মারমা’র সঞ্চালনায় এবং বাংলাদেশ মারমা স্টুডেন্টস কাউন্সিল এর খাগড়াছড়ি জেলা শাখার সভাপতি ক্যপ্রুসাই মারমা সভাপতিত্বে এ সেমিনারে প্রধান বক্তা হিসেবে ছিলেন চট্টগ্রাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের মার্কেটিং বিভাগের শিক্ষার্থী নিউমা চৌধুরী। আরও বক্তব্য রাখেন চট্টগ্রাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ইংরেজি বিভাগের শিক্ষার্থী ডচেংনু চৌধুরী, লালমাটিয়া কলেজের সমাজবিজ্ঞান বিভাগের শিক্ষার্থী উক্রাচিং চৌধুরী।
বক্তারা এ সেমিনারে ডিজিটাল নিরাপত্তা কি ও কেন, সাইবার ক্রাইমের ধরণ, ডিজিটাল ঝুঁকি প্রতিরোধে করণীয় ও আইনি পদক্ষেপ সংক্রান্ত বিষয় এবং বাংলাদেশের ডিজিটাল আইন সম্পর্কিত মৌলিক ধারণা নিয়ে বিশদভাবে আলোচনা করেন। এছাড়াও ডিজিটাল নিরাপত্তা ও ঝুঁকি বিষয়ক তথ্য সংবলিত লিফলেট ও একটি প্রশ্নাবলী অংশগ্রহণকারীদের মাঝে বিতরণ করা হয়। প্রায় ৩০ জন আদিবাসী কিশোরী উক্ত সেমিনারে অংশগ্রহণ করে ডিজিটাল যুগে অনলাইন প্লাটফর্মে মেয়েদের নিরাপত্তা নিশ্চিতকরণে সচেতনতার মাধ্যমে ডিজিটাল ঝুঁকি এড়ানোর প্রত্যয় ঘোষণা করেন।
Bangladesh Marma students Council(BMSC), in collaboration with ‘Plan International and Mong Circle Chief office’, organised a seminar on ”Digital Security Among Indigenous Female Adolescents From CHT” at the Natun Para Primary School premise in Guimara on Tuesday, November 24.
The seminar was started by Mayeching Marma, Moderator of the seminar and also a student of Dramatics department at the University of Chittagong and ended by Kyaprusai Marma, president of BMSC Khagrachhari district branch and also chair in the seminar.Newma Chowdhury, a student of Marketing Department at the University of Chittagong, talked to the participants as a chief discussant in the seminar. Dachangnu Chowdhury , a student of the University of Chittagong and Ukraching Chowdhury, a student of Lalmatia Women College were also discussants in the seminar.
In the seminar, speakers discussed about the basic information on Digital security, kinds of Cyber Crime, precautions and solutions to online safety and the Digital Law in Bangladesh. Leaflets and questionnaires were distributed to the participants. Nearly 30 indigenous adolescent girls participated in the seminar and took oath to keep themselves safe from digital risk and shared the information that they learned from the seminar.
